The 808 in our name pays homage to the 1980’s Roland TR-808 drum machine, one of the most influential instruments to appear in the last 30 years.
This machine completely changed how music was created and recorded, combining ground-breaking creativity with affordability.
Just as the TR-808 let artists see creativity differently, we see the world through a different lens.
